We propose several bioinformatics trainings for biologists :
- NGS data analysis on command line
This hands-on course will teach bioinformatic approaches for analyzing Illumina sequencing data. Our goal is to introduce the command line skills you need to make the most of your NGS data.
During this 4-day training we will first introduce the Linux environment, shell commands and basic R scripting. And then we will focus on two NGS data analyses — small RNA-seq and RNA-seq — based on published datasets from the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana.
Next session: March 2 – 7, 2023
Duration: 3,5 days

- R for graphs and stats
The aim of this training is to teach you how to use R to make your graphs and do simple statistical tests to analyse your datasets. It is made for begginers in R.
The course will be available online. You will have to follow the different tutorials and do the exercices. Each week there will be a face-to-face checkpoint to correct the exercices and go further.

- Open Science and DMP
This course – in French – presents the FAIR principles for the management of research data in the life science. This training is a local session of the IFB training « FAIR data » and is co-organized by IBMP, ICube and IGBMC.
