Dialogue between researchers and high school students to interest them in the construction of knowledge…. is the objective of DECLICS, one of the actions of the Cercle FSER, and it is within this framework that 8 IBMP researchers spent the morning of 19 November 2021 at the André Maurois High School in Bischwiller.
The “captain” Dominique Gagliardi presented his research topic and explained how new knowledge is acquired in fundamental research. The speed meeting then allowed some 50 high school students to meet each of the 8 IBMP “ambassadors” and to ask them questions about the various research professions.
The dialogue was very popular with both the students and the researchers… much to the delight of the science teachers!
