Hélène Scheer laureate of a prize from “l’Académie des Sciences”

The Madeleine Lecoq prize from the french Académie des Sciences was awarded to Hélène Scheer during a solemn ceremonie on November 26, 2019 under the Cupola of the Institut de France.

Awarded to a young woman, this prize alternately distinguishes a thesis in the field of physics or molecular and cellular biology, genomics.

Hélène Scheer was awarded for her thesis entitled “The complex role of uridylation in the metabolism of mRNAs in Arabidopsis thaliana”, a thesis she carried out under the direction of Dominique Gagliardi.
