The IBMP hosted the TYPEX Days 2025 on 18–19 November, bringing together all partners of the TYPEX project for two days of scientific presentations, discussions, and collaborative planning.
The first day highlighted major advances achieved over the past year, including the development of new Prime Editing tools, their implementation across several cultivated species, and significant progress in species that had previously been challenging to edit. The discussions also emphasized the growing importance of the TYPEX cloning platform (LRSV, Toulouse), now fully integrated into the PEPR SVA distributed infrastructure and available to the wider research community.
The second day focused on cross-cutting topics, such as ongoing and future collaborations with other PEPR targeted projects (DIVEDIT, GARDENS), interactions with the Agroecology & Digital PEPR, and the anticipated evolution of the European regulatory framework on NGTs and its implications for the project.
These two days confirmed the strong collective dynamic of TYPEX and helped prepare the next stages of the programme.
