The first “RNA Confluence” symposium was held at EMBL in Heidelberg on February 12, 2026. The event brought together nearly 200 RNA biologists from several networks and clubs supported by the RNA Society, including the EMBL RNA Club, the Heidelberg RNA/Translation Club, the Rhineland RNA Club, the RMU-RNA Salon, the STRAS RNA Salon, the Würzburg RNA Salon, as well as the All-Ireland and Hungarian RNA Salons.
The IBMP was proudly represented by eight participants. Among them, Vasileios Skaltsogiannis was selected for an oral presentation. Sana Wigati and Luisa Felgines were both selected for flash talks, and Luisa also received a poster award.
