IBMP is delighted to announce that Dr. Luisa FELGINES, a former PhD student in Todd Blevins’ team, has been awarded the Prix Famille Schwartz 2025 for her outstanding doctoral research.
Her thesis, titled “Functional Study of POL IV-CLSY-SHH1 Docking in Small RNA Biogenesis and Transposon Silencing,” delves into the complex mechanisms governing small RNA biogenesis and their role in transposon silencing. This work provides critical insights into the molecular interactions between RNA Polymerase IV (POL IV), CLSY, and SHH1, advancing our understanding of epigenetic regulation in plants.
