From June 15–19, 2026, the IBMP co-hosted the ViroiDoc Days, the second in-person meeting of the ViroiDoc (MSCA) consortium. This hybrid event brought together PhD candidates, supervisors, and partners for advanced training in viroid research, featuring workshops on microscopy, AI for image analysis, and Nanopore technology, led by IBMP researchers (Mathieu Erhardt, Jérôme Mutterer, Todd Blevins).
A poster session highlighted the doctoral candidates’ work, with Linh Thi Thuy Le receiving top honors. Participants also visited Bioreba (Switzerland) and attended a session at the European Parliament during the adoption of the New Genomic Techniques (NGTs) regulation for plants.
Organized by CNRS, IBMP, the University of Crete (IMBB), and Bioreba, the event strengthened collaborations within the ViroiDoc network.
